# Package Source Skill

|
Keeps locally searchable upstream source synchronized with project dependencies through [`opensrc`](https://github.com/vercel-labs/opensrc).
|
|
|
|
The skill runs in dependency-change mode after package installation or updates, and in fetch-only mode when `code-research` needs source that is not yet cached. Fetch-only mode never modifies the project.
|
|
|
|
The global installation at `~/.agents/skills/package-source` should be a symlink to this directory.
