Mohamed Boudra ac6a0afdc7 fix(app): calm the segmented control's selected segment
The selected segment was an inverted fill — theme foreground behind
surface0 text — which in dark mode dropped a white slab into thin
chrome like the file toolbar, and the fully rounded corners made it
read as a lozenge rather than a tab. It now uses a surface3 fill with
foreground text, and each segment takes the corner radius of the
button at its size tier.

Segments also drop one padding step below the equivalent button. The
gap between segments already supplies the visual padding, so matching
button padding made the track wider than it needed to be and ate the
breathing room around it in a 32px toolbar row.

Selection changes colour only. No weight or size change, so labels
never reflow as you switch segments.

Carries the buttonControlHeight extraction that was already sitting in
control-geometry.ts, since the two files could not be split apart
cleanly for this commit. Its callers stay uncommitted.

Mohamed Boudra b362af6e32 fix(app): prevent diff canvas resize stretching

Mohamed Boudra 9e6e148ba2 fix(app): stabilize canvas refresh and borders

Mohamed BoudraandGitHub 6d7606160e Let plugins add contextual workspace tools (#3465)
* feat(plugins): add workspace panels and command center contributions

Give local plugins contextual UI entry points without making the daemon interpret client placement or callbacks. Panels receive stable IDs and read cached client state through required selectors with shallow equality, avoiding unrelated guest rerenders and context-discovery RPCs.

* fix(plugins): align shared client state ownership

Workspace panels and Command Center callbacks consume the same frozen client snapshots, so their adapter belongs to the plugin boundary rather than either contribution surface. Refresh the Nix dependency hash for the selector-store dependency added by this feature.

Mohamed BoudraandGitHub 1e2089cef7 Summarize pull request checks and group them by status (#3483)
* fix(app): keep check rows the same height with and without "Add to chat"

A check row was minHeight 32 plus 8pt of vertical padding, but the xs
Button in its trailing slot is 28pt tall. The button stacked on the
padding rather than fitting inside the row, so a row grew to 44pt the
moment "Add to chat" appeared and the list visibly shifted as rows
gained the button.

Rows are single-line by construction, so the row now declares a fixed
height instead of a floor a child can outgrow. That height comes from
CONTROL_HEIGHTS, the same source the button sizes from, so the two
cannot drift apart later. GitLab pipeline rows share this style and get
the fix too.

* feat(app): summarize pull request checks and group them by status

The checks section listed every check inline under a bare "Checks"
header with three count pills. On a repo with a real matrix that meant
a wall of undifferentiated rows that pushed the activity timeline off
the pane, and the pills made the reader add up numbers to work out
whether the run was actually in trouble.

The section now leads with the answer — a headline that names the
outcome, a one-line count breakdown, and a ring showing the statuses in
proportion — then groups the rows by status with failures first, and
scrolls in place past roughly eight rows instead of growing without
bound. Groups collapse individually.

The derivation lives in checks-summary.ts as one pure function, so the
headline, the ring, and the group labels cannot disagree about the same
run. The rendering, the row, and the check identity move out of pane.tsx
into an owned module; the pane now wires it and nothing more.

Running checks also gain a timing. formatCheckRunDuration required both
a start and a completion, so anything still going showed nothing at all.
It now measures an unfinished run to now. The wire deliberately carries
formatted strings rather than raw timestamps — there is a test asserting
check timestamps are stripped — so the daemon does the measuring and the
client only decides how to say it: a bare "2m" on a running row would
read as "took 2m", so those rows say "running 2m".

Lorenzo FioreandGitHub 1917fdd131 fix(highlight): highlight Svelte components (#3487)
* fix(highlight): highlight Svelte components

`.svelte` had no entry in the extension table, so `highlightCode` fell through
to one unstyled token per line. That is the same table the file pane, the diff
tokens, markdown fences and the web editor all resolve through, so a component
rendered as plain text everywhere in the app.

Register `@replit/codemirror-lang-svelte`. Its `svelteLanguage` already wires
the mixed parsing for the `<script>` and `<style>` blocks, so the script gets
JS/TS roles, the style block gets CSS roles, and the template gets tag,
directive and mustache roles. It comes from the same publisher as the
`@replit/codemirror-lang-csharp` entry already in this package, and only the
grammar itself is declared: its CodeMirror peers resolve the same way the C#
grammar's peers already do.

* test(server): cover Svelte diff highlighting

The review surface in the issue is the diff, and the daemon is what tokenizes
it (`diff-highlighter.ts` calls `highlightCode`), so the regression belongs
here too: script, template block and markup roles on a `.svelte` hunk.

Mohamed BoudraandGitHub 0eab0b7828 feat(app): float composer trackers as pills over the transcript (#3482)
The subagents track and the task list were stacked cards above the
composer. Each one pushed the composer further down the pane and painted
an opaque band the timeline stopped at, and both spent a full row on a
count that fits in a pill.

Both are now pills that open a panel — a popover on wide screens, a sheet
on compact ones, from the existing menu engine rather than a fourth
floating-panel implementation. The row frame is shared, so a subagent row
and a task row sit on the same rail whatever their contents.

The bar mounts inside the transcript's animated container and pins itself
to the bottom edge, so scrolled content passes under the pills instead of
stopping above them. It stays a child of that container rather than a
sibling floating over the composer: on Android a view outside its parent's
bounds paints but takes no touches, and every pill is pressable. The
container carries the same keyboard transform the composer does, so the
pills track the composer's top edge when the keyboard moves.

The tracker state moves out of the composer with it. None of it was
composer state; it lived there because that is where it used to render.

Mohamed BoudraandGitHub 16120ebff1 Make local plugins manageable and debuggable (#3446)
* feat(plugins): expose Paseo API to local plugins

Plugin surfaces borrow the selected host connection while subprocess handlers receive an exclusively owned IPC session, so plugins can use normal workspace and agent operations without inventing another transport.

* feat(plugins): reload global enablement safely

Treat the global plugin switch as a live daemon setting and teach plugin automation to inspect it before acting. Enabling remains permission-gated because plugin backend code can access the daemon machine and client contributions execute inside the app.

* feat(plugins): expose plugin logs

Mohamed BoudraandGitHub d4435bd016 perf(app): keep warm workspace switching responsive (#3447)
* perf(app): reduce warm workspace switch work

Retained workspaces avoided mounts but pane activity still rerendered the full composer, message input, and agent-control presentation. Keep the activity contract intact while moving focus-sensitive behavior behind small context consumers, and add a Playwright benchmark that measures rapid retained workspace switching on one browser clock.

* perf(app): accelerate retained workspace switching

Avoid repeated retained-stream layout reconciliation and unrelated workspace structure recomputation. Use the lightweight route transition while the host is already focused, while preserving targeted root POP_TO for returns from app-wide routes where it prevents duplicate hidden decks.

* perf(app): defer composer focus during workspace switches

* perf(app): retain recently used workspaces longer

Keep up to ten workspace screens warm so normal multi-workspace navigation does not repeatedly rebuild recently used timelines. Inactive screens expire after ten minutes, while the active screen remains protected and capacity eviction stays least-recently-used.

Mohamed BoudraandGitHub 9a0c53d790 fix(opencode): recover turns after event stream drops (#3395)
* fix(opencode): recover turns after event stream drops

Own the global event transport for the lifetime of the OpenCode server generation instead of coupling it to individual turns. Reconcile scoped provider state after reconnect so transient EOF, errors, and stalls do not falsely fail healthy foreground or delegated work.

* fix(opencode): settle recovery lifecycle edges

Retry only failed post-gap snapshots, preserve terminal child evidence when status is unavailable, and treat provider process exit as an authoritative stop boundary.

* fix(opencode): keep gap repair snapshot-scoped

Refresh child and blocking-request state once per reconnect, retry only rejected root snapshot reads, and settle a successful snapshot without the active dispatch instead of polling transcripts.

* fix(opencode): keep live ingress ahead of repair retries

Schedule failed snapshot retries back onto the serialized session ingress so newly arrived live terminal events run first. Keep retry backoff scoped to root reads and invalidate stale retries across later reconnects.

* fix(opencode): invalidate stale gap repairs between turns

A delayed recovery retry could inspect a replacement turn after the original turn completed. Turn creation now invalidates older repair work, and the slash-command timeout regression drives the generation-owned event source used by sessions.

* fix(opencode): bind gap repair to its turn

A queued or in-flight repair could resume after its original turn ended and read a replacement turn's mutable dispatch state. Recovery now captures its boundary and revalidates the repair revision after provider awaits and while materializing snapshots.

* fix(opencode): preserve child status on failed recovery

* perf(app): bound large diff row mounting

Keep the existing vertical and horizontal scroll owners so virtualization does not change gesture or scrolling behavior. Reserve exact offscreen row heights while mounting only the visible window, and retain the full renderer when wrapping or editing reviews requires dynamic geometry.

* perf(app): keep large diff reviews responsive

Opening an inline editor changed the whole review action object, reconciled large syntax-token trees, and disabled row virtualization. Keep the expensive token subtree stable and preserve deterministic row geometry while the editor is open.\n\nBound server-side highlighting for pathological single lines and remove the unused client highlighter so the actual diff pipeline owns the limit.
